- From the first drop-down list, select the type of records that will be modified. You can choose from the following options:
- NS, A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRVand, NAPTR, CAA records for forward zones
- NS, PTR and TXT records for reverse IPV4 zones
- NS and PTR records for reverse IPV6 zones
- NS and NAPTR records for E.164 zones
- From the second drop-down list, you need to select the matching algorithm:
- equals when the value parameter of the records must be identical to the specified value.
- contains when the value parameter of the records must contain the specified value. In the first text box, you must specify the search criteria.
Note The * character can be used to match any set of characters.
- From the third drop-down list, select the action you would like to perform on the matching records:
- replace with if you would like to modify the matching records
- drop record if you would like to erase them - The last text box must contain the new value that will be used to modify the respective records.
