DNS Manager comes with a repository of skins. You can add and remove skins from the system.
To reach the Skins Repository page, click Settings in the left panel and the press the Skins icon. In this page, you'll find the list of skins available in the system, including the following details:
- Name: The name that identifies the skin in the system.
- Description: A short description of the skin.
- Author: The designer of the skin.
- Used: The number of users currently using this skin in their interface.
Adding a new skin
To add a new interface skin to the system, follow the steps below:
- Click the Add skin icon.
- Enter the location of the skin in the Path to the skin package file location field or use the Browse button to locate the file.
- Click OK to add the new skin to the system. If you want to go back to the previous page without adding the skin, click Cancel.
DNS Manager accepts skin package files only in .tar.gz.format.
Deleting skins
To remove interface skins from the system, follow the steps:
- Click the Skins icon.
- Select the skins you want to delete by selecting their corresponding checkboxes.
- Click the Remove selected link. A new page opens displaying the list of skins that will be deleted.
- Review the list. If you want to proceed with the removal, select the Confirm the removal checkbox and click OK. If you want to return to the previous page without deleting anything, click Cancel.
You cannot remove skins that are currently selected by system users for their interfaces .Their corresponding checkboxes are disabled.
