To install VoipNow, you can either watch the video below or read the transcripts, if it's easier to follow.

Hi and welcome to our VoipNow 3 installation tutorial. Whether you’re using the Express version, an evaluation license or a Service Provider License, in this video you will learn how to install VoipNow in just a few simple steps.

  1. Before you start, make sure the machine you are using meets the minimum hardware requirements shown on the screen.
  2. The supported operating systems are Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS; we strongly recommend using the latest update for all newer installations.
  3. The optimal hardware configuration is strongly related to the expected load and number of concurrent calls. For more details, please check VoipNow’s Wiki Documentation or contact us.
  4. In this video, I will install VoipNow using the “Command Line Installer” and a terminal emulator client called Putty; you can get Putty from the following web address.
  5. When you're ready to start, simply log in as root and download the VoipNow installer script.
  6. Then run the script, allow the system to download all the packages and updates, and resolve dependencies. Installation usually takes 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. When installation is done, open the web administration interface and type the IP server address within a web browser.
  8. Enter the website using admin as username and welcome as password. Don’t forget to accept the terms and conditions displayed by the End-user license agreement.
  9. At this point, you will be setting up your administrator password, email address and creating default user accounts. When you’re done, you can start configuring your system.

I hope you found this video helpful. Thank you for watching.
