Operations with Channel Costs

This page contains instructions on how to search for channel costs, export them or remove them from the system.

Overview

The Channel Cost Management for <channel_name> page allows you to:

• visualize costs associated with channel for various call destinations
• add new channel costs
• replace all costs associated with channel
• export costs to a .csv file
• remove costs from the database

Export channel costs

VoipNow allows you to export the channel costs to a .csv file. The exported .csv file can be later shared among VoipNow servers or can be used for backup purposes.

To export channel costs:

1. Click the Export all costs link at the top of the costs table.
2. Save .csv file to your system.

Search for channel costs

You can filter the channel costs table by the name:

1. Enter the name in the text box at the top of the table.
2. Click the  Search button. The system will remember the search criteria when a new search is performed and even after the user logs out.

Remove channel costs

To remove a channel cost:

1. Select the channel cost's corresponding checkbox.
2. Click the Remove selected link.
3. Click OK to confirm the removal. Click Cancel if you are not sure that you should delete this record. The removal operation is permanent and once it is complete the channel cost cannot be restored.
